The Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Training Group is open to individuals ages 18 and up that are interested in developing effective skills for coping in general. This group is divided into four modules: Core Mindfulness Skills, Distress Tolerance Skills, Interpersonal Effectiveness Skills and Emotion Regulation Skills.

The group modules offer a combination of support and skill training to calm the storm. We’ll use Mindfulness (practices, awareness, self-compassion, acceptance) and other strategies to cope more effectively, to move beyond suffering and to utilize our strengths and values to create a richer and more fulfilling life.

The CBT Peer-Lead Study Group welcomes everyone that has previously attended or is currently attending the CBT Group at the North Simcoe Therapy Network. This group provides support surrounding the concepts taught during the CBT Group and revises the chapters of the Mind Over Mood 2Ed. manual.
