YOGA

Yoga is a holistic practice originating from ancient India that integrates physical postures, breath control, meditation, and relaxation techniques to promote overall well-being. It offers a blend of physical exercise, mental focus, and spiritual connection, aiming to harmonize the body, mind, and spirit. Through regular practice, yoga enhances flexibility, strength, and balance while reducing stress, improving mental clarity, and fostering a sense of inner peace and vitality.

Additional information about Children’s Yoga Classes:

– Mats are provided
– Bring water bottles and dress to exercise!
– Please be reminded that this class is exclusively for children. Parents/Caregivers are kindly asked to return after class ends to pick up their children to allow for a more focused learning environment.
– No classes June 30 and August 4 for long weekends


Additional information about Kundalini Class:

Kundalini yoga class typically includes tuning in with a mantra, warm-up exercises (including pranayama/breath work and dynamic movements), a kriya (specific set of exercises), meditation and savasana (conscious relaxation) and a closing mantra. Each class varies based on the intention set by the instructor.

– All skill levels and bodies are welcome
– Mats are not provided but there are a few spares if needed


 

 

MESSAGE THERAPY

Trauma-informed massage therapy prioritizes creating a safe, empowering space for clients, acknowledging the impact of trauma on mental health. By promoting relaxation, body awareness, and emotional regulation, it helps reduce anxiety, release tension, and foster self-compassion. Through gentle touch and a supportive approach, it facilitates healing by addressing the mind-body connection, offering clients a pathway to manage stress and process difficult emotions effectively.
