At North Simcoe Therapy Network, we believe mental health care should be transparent and accessible. Fees vary depending on the clinician, type of service, and length of appointment.

You will be informed of the applicable fee before beginning services so you know what to expect.

Psychotherapy Fees

Our clinicians set fees based on their professional designation, experience, and the type of service being provided.

Fees may vary for:

  • Individual therapy
  • Child and adolescent therapy
  • Couples therapy
  • Family therapy
  • Substance use and addiction services
  • Mental Performance Consulting
  • Assessments, reports, and other professional services

Low-Cost Therapy

We believe finances shouldn’t prevent someone from accessing mental health support.

Our Low-Cost Therapy Program offers appointments from $0–$75 per session based on financial need. Services are provided by student therapists completing their clinical training under professional supervision.

Both in-person and virtual options are available.

Insurance Coverage

Psychotherapy services may be covered by extended health benefits. Coverage depends on your individual insurance plan and the professional designation of your clinician.

NSTN also offers direct billing to many insurance providers where available.

NIHB & MNO

NSTN has clinicians who are approved providers through Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) and the Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO).

If you are accessing services through one of these programs, please let us know when booking so we can connect you with an appropriate clinician and confirm applicable coverage.

Cancellation & Missed Appointments

Appointment times are reserved specifically for each client. We ask that clients provide appropriate notice if they need to cancel or reschedule.

Late cancellations and missed appointments may be subject to a fee in accordance with your clinician’s cancellation policy.
