Getting Started

You do not need a referral to access psychotherapy services at NSTN. Individuals and families are welcome to contact us directly to request an appointment.

When helping you find a therapist, we may consider:

Your age or the age of your child
The type of service you’re seeking
Therapist experience and areas of focus
In-person or virtual preferences
Scheduling and availability
Insurance or funding requirements
Budget and low-cost options

If you already have a therapist in mind, you are welcome to request them when contacting us.

In-Person & Virtual Appointments

NSTN offers both in-person and virtual appointments, depending on the clinician and service.

Our in-person services are provided from our clinic in Wyebridge, Ontario, while virtual appointments provide additional flexibility for eligible clients throughout Ontario.

That’s completely okay. You don’t need to choose a therapist before contacting us.

Consultation Appointments

If you would like to learn more before booking your first therapy session, consultation options may be available with some of our clinicians.

A consultation can provide an opportunity to briefly discuss what you’re looking for, ask questions about the therapist’s approach, and determine whether their services may be a good fit for your needs.
