Low-Cost Therapy
We believe that finances should not prevent someone from accessing mental health support.
At North Simcoe Therapy Network, our Low-Cost Therapy Program was created to make psychotherapy more accessible for individuals and families who may otherwise face financial barriers to care. Through this program, clients can access supportive, individualized psychotherapy at a reduced cost, with options available from $0–$75 per session based on financial need.
Our goal is simple: to help more people in our community access quality mental health support when they need it.
Who Can Access Low-Cost Therapy?
Our Low-Cost Therapy Program is available to individuals who may find the cost of traditional psychotherapy difficult to manage. You do not need to have insurance coverage or a specific diagnosis to reach out.
Low-cost therapy may be appropriate for:
- Children and adolescents
- Adults
- Individuals without extended health benefits
- Individuals whose insurance coverage has been exhausted
- Students and young adults
- Families experiencing financial hardship
- Individuals who may otherwise delay or go without mental health support because of cost
If you’re unsure whether the program is right for you, we encourage you to contact us. Our team can discuss the available options and help determine what may best fit your circumstances.

Quality Care at a More Accessible Cost
Reduced cost does not mean that your concerns are any less important.
Our Low-Cost Therapy Program includes student therapists completing their clinical training under professional supervision, providing clients with supportive and individualized care while developing their clinical experience.
Clients are matched with a therapist based on their needs, goals, availability, and the therapist’s scope of practice. If a client’s needs would be better supported by another member of our team or a specialized service, we will help identify appropriate options.
Flexible Options for Care
Low-cost appointments are available in person and virtually, helping make therapy more accessible for clients with different schedules, transportation needs, and circumstances.
Fees range from $0–$75 per session based on financial need. Our team can discuss available options with you when you reach out.
