DBT Group: Interpersonal Effectiveness Skills #4
August 27 @ 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm| $140
The Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Training Group is open to individuals ages 18 and up that are interested in developing effective skills for coping in general. This group is divided into four modules: Core Mindfulness Skills, Distress Tolerance Skills, Interpersonal Effectiveness Skills and Emotion Regulation Skills. Each module is offered over four weeks on Thursday evenings from 6:30pm-7:45pm at the NSTN location. The cost of each four-week module is $140. There will be a review of the Core Mindfulness Skills at the beginning of each module. There is no requirement to complete all four modules or to complete them in any particular order. This group is facilitated by a Registered Psychotherapist. The cost of the group may be covered under extended health care benefits. Please check with your insurance provider prior to registering. Contact our office at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (705) 481-1925 with any questions regarding the group or costs.
Note: Standard DBT Skills Training Groups are ideally offered for approximately 2.5 hours per week for up to 24 weeks to cover the full skills curriculum, which is often repeated to create a 1-year program. To make our programming more accessible and affordable to individuals in our community we are offering a briefer schedule which offers a subset of skills that the full program would offer.
