Families play a crucial role in supporting their loved ones, which is often at the expense of themselves. As a result, family members may experience varying levels anxiety, sadness, confusion, self-blame, fear, and anger. Together, during our Family Support Group we will explore definitions of mental health and stigma; normalize feelings of guilt, fear, and anger; discuss the importance of developing effective communication techniques and boundaries; and establish strategies for self-care.
